CRYSTAL BALL APPLICATIONS FOR SIX SIGMA

This accelerated one-day course will focus on the use of simulation, risk analysis and stochastic optimization within Six Sigma. In addition to learning to navigate Crystal Ball, you will discover when and where the different Crystal Ball analysis tools fit within the Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma, and Lean Principles processes.

Instructors will use hands-on instruction and real-world case studies to teach students the basics of Monte Carlo simulation, how to gain insights from simulation results, and the best ways to present findings to peers, management, or clients.

Who should attend?

Crystal Ball logoThis course is designed for Crystal Ball clients and Six Sigma practitioners interested in gaining an understanding of where the various analytical tools in the Crystal Ball Professional Edition fit into the Six Sigma process. This one-day course uses services/transactional and manufacturing models and is appropriate for Six Sigma practitioners across all business sectors.

The Benefits

In this one-day course, you will learn to:

  • Apply simulation to your existing business models to identify the areas of your business where Six Sigma quality and Lean speed will generate the largest returns,
  • View the variance of your process model and visually examine how changing inputs
    affects your output,
  • Identify where simulation, sensitivity analysis, forecasting/regression and stochastic optimization are useful across the DMAIC, DMADV and LEAN methodologies.
  • Communicate the concepts and effects of variability and uncertainty to other members of your organization,
  • And more!
